Silver Horde Plugs
All Silver Horde plugs are handmade and finished using time-honored techniques. Manufacturerd from high impact, top quality plastic and equipped with corrosion resistant rigging and super sharp hooks. Silver Horde plugs are available in a wide variety of fish getting colors including "Double Glow" and Ultra-Violet finishes.
Available in three sizes:
- SILVER HORDE 4: Stock #2003 (4")
- SILVER HORDE 5: Stock #3003 (4-3/4")
- ACE HI 5: Stock #3153 (5")
About the "ACE HI": The first plastic salmon trolling plugs; the "ACE HI", were introduced by Silver Horder in 1948. They quickly became the top choice of the Pacific Northwest commercial fleet. Primarily supplied for sport fishing today the "ACE HI" features a strong fixed position hook & key arrangement. This style plug is generally used for faster lure speed applications.
About the "SILVER HORDE": At the request of sport fishing enthusiasts the "SILVER HORDE" style plug was created in the early 1960's. The sliding bead chain feature allows the lure to slide up the line when playing the fish. The "SILVER HORDE" style plug is used for slower to mid range trolling speeds.
