The Rhys Davis Super Herring Specials have design features and simplicity built into a lure that handles much larger sized whole baits. This lure has earned the confidence of salmon anglers from California to Alaska by consistently producing quality results. Fresh water anglers have discovered that trophy lake trout can't resist its trademark Teaser lure action.

Rigged Teaser heads come "one" lure per package already tied with hook, swivel & 30 lb. test leader. This format is best for anglers who want a lure that is "fish ready" straight from the package. Unrigged heads are also available in 3 packs.

The super herring special is designed for whole bait 6" to 9" (15-23 cm). When fished correctly with larger anchovies, Herring or other whole baitfish, it produces a tight revolving action. The hook must be set into the bait to obtain the right action. For normal trolling conditions the lure whould revolve 1 to 2 times per second. Excellent for chinook, coho, trout, and halibut when slow trolled with larger herring.
