The Anchovy Special is the #1 choice for anglers who want to combine the effectiveness of anchovies and other medium sized bait fish with the action and fish catching consistency of a plastic bait retaining lure.

Rigged Teaser heads come "one" lure per package already tied with hook, swivel & 30 lb. test leader. This format is best for anglers who want a lure that is "fish ready" straight from the package. Unrigged heads are also available in 3 packs.

The Anchovy Special is designed for Anchovies of all sizes and other whole bait from 4" - 6" (10-15cm) long such as alewife, smelt, herring (red or green tray), or cut bait strips. When fished correctly with anchovies, minnows and other popular baits it produces a tight revolving fish catching action. For normal trolling conditions it should revolve at 1 to 2 turns per second. The hook must be set into the bait to produce the correct actioin. The hook position and the amount of curve in the bait determine lure action and the speed at which the lure rolls.
