Legendary Products Free Slider Elberta Clip'er

The Elberta Clip'er Free Slider is the easy way to go after fish at an undetermined depth. The free slider locates itself at the belly of the line in relation to the location of the primary lure. It is not necessary to remove the free slider when a fish hits the lure: the free slider simply slides down to the primary lure, releases, and is retrieved when the fish is boated.

1. Hold the split ring at the rear of the Free Slider between your thumb and forefinger.
2. Place the thumb and forefinger of your other hand on the two fins located on the collar cap. Pull the cap down until it clears the slide, turn the collar just a hair to the left holding the Free Slider in a cocked position.
3. Place your main fishing line in the notch in the Pin of the Free Slider, turn the collar just a hair to the right until the collar snaps into place.
4. Tie 50 to 70 inches of additional line to the Free Slider swivel. Tie your lure, trolling spoon or cut bait on the other end of this line.

1. Replace the snap swivel generally used on the stern of most planer boards.
2. Place line in hook of Free Slider.
3. Turn cap a fraction until it snaps closed.
4. This allows planer to be held on the proper angle creating true tracking.
5. If a strike occurs the board is released from the main release.
6. Planer board will slide down the line to the barrel swivel placed ahead of your lure.
